who could think that a ruined homestead from the 1800s could be my ancestral history? and WE DO NOT USE HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGES! plus we litterally scared the crap outta the cows!

hey so i went to the country. and yeah, there ARE roads and cars there for those simple minded people who think the midwest still has horse-drawn-carriages. and yes, there are people who believe that.

i got some pretty cool pictures from it. along with some teenagers in them. i'll be putting them up sporadically. or maybe just whenever i get on. really, i'll be putting them up.

the reason why they're sooooo cool is cuz my great great great grandfather made these -now- ruins by hand back when -part of- my family moved here from czechoslovakia. there were at least four places of ruins and other places laid out for other buildings. two are houses. the first was a little one, and then there was an addition to it which was really cool cuz it was just rocks on top of each other. no mortar(sp?).
the funny part was -it's now a cow pasture- there were a ton of cows milling about the ruins. as we walked toward them the ran away, of course they would, we're "scary". and as they ran they were so friggin scared the crapped the whole way! lol! XD haha and there was a horny cow too. i guess it was a bull, but who's getting technical? it was trying to mount another cow, and jeez, i wouldda buckled under that weight!
